Recently my friend Emily contacted me about doing a maternity session. I’ve had two maternity sessions fall through already (both babies were born two months early!!) so I was hesitant to schedule anything for fear of a premie being born yet again. She was due in about a month and, according to a friend of mine, a 36 week baby is ready for birth. *Wheew*
Emily’s husband, Scott, is currently serving in Iraq right now and missed most of the pregnancy. The day she gave birth he arrived home for a two week paternity leave and will be home until Christmas Eve. It’s a horrible time to go back overseas, but it’s so nice that he’s able to come to see his wife and newborn for a couple of weeks. The next time he sees baby Anne-Marie she will be six months old.
Emily was on bed rest the last month of her pregnancy so we tried to limit the poses and standing. She was a gorgeous model for me and we had so much fun.
